Rare vintage Yamaha YTR-934L Custom Bb trumpet in silver plate.
Condition
Very good apart from evidence of dent repair on bell flare and 2nd slide, smooth plating wear on 1st slide, and mild surface scratches (see photos). 3rd valve finger button is non-original. 3rd slide spring is heavy but works smoothly. Has been ultrasonically cleaned, polished, and adjusted. Includes original Yamaha single case.

A reverse leadpipe, large bore Bb trumpet from Yamaha's storied collaboration with Renold Schilke before the company began research into heavyweight trumpets that would become the Xeno line. Comes with 1st and 3rd slide triggers, an optional feature offered by Yamaha at the time.
Playing characteristics
A versatile Bb trumpet with a broad, bright, powerful sound. Very quick response and great flexibility. Has Yamaha's characteristically excellent intonation but wider than average slots (more like modern Yamaha jazz trumpets than Xenos).
