Condition
Excellent apart from a ding on a knuckle and minor surface scratches (see photos). Has been ultrasonically cleaned and adjusted. Includes Xeno hard double case.
About this model
Based on the YTR-8335IIS Xeno Bb trumpet, this model was designed at the Yamaha Atelier in collaboration with Japanese classical trumpeter Osamu Kumashiro (神代修) to reproduce the sound of a Viennese rotary trumpet, but with the agility of a piston trumpet. Features a unique bell with wide throat and steep bell flare, heavyweight body, Artist Model parts, and other customizations. Produces a warm, silky sound with great projection. Slots are a little more flexible than many other Xenos, while retaining Yamaha's characteristically excellent intonation.
