Used Yamaha YFH-6310S Bb flugelhorn in silver plate.
Condition
Very good apart from minor surface scratches and evidence of dent repair on bell tail (see photos). Has been ultrasonically cleaned, polished, and adjusted. Includes original case with keys.
About this model
A rare Yamaha flugelhorn with a traditional small bore (as opposed to the common medium bore of the YFH-631G). Has outstanding flexibility and extremely easy response. Compared to the (also small-bore) Bobby Shew flugelhorn, the YFH-6310S is not as lightweight and does not brighten as much when pushed. Intonation is excellent apart from the typically sharp low D and C#.
