A cost-effective professional variant of the Bach Stradivarius 180S37 also made in Elkhart, Indiana but sold exclusively overseas. Sounds indistinguishable from the 180S37 thanks to a hand-hammered (2-piece) bell using the same #37 bell mandrel, Stradivarius valve block, and Monel valves. Unlike the 180S37, the VBS1 includes a convenient 3rd slide water key.

Excellent apart from light surface scratches. No dents. No history of repair. Has been ultrasonically cleaned, polished, and adjusted. Includes Bach hard double case with shoulder strap.
